My name is Jon Ma and the solo GP of Expedited.vc which is a micro fund focused on investing in software founders and backed by Sequoia, Bain Capital Ventures, SignalFire and others. We write angel check sizes between $10-$100k.
We are no longer investing as we’re focused on building our own startup

Hi! My name is Jon Ma and I'm starting a web3 analytics startup with Anthony. I was most recently an analyst at Whale Rock, a $10b+ cross over fund. I previously spent time working on various GTM initiatives at Modern Treasury. I co-founded Public Comps which is the SaaS Investing platform used by 3200+ leading VCs and growth stage startups looking to analyze, benchmark or value their software business. Building is hard and I empathize. I previously spent 5 years investing in early and growth stage startups at SignalFire and Insight.
Anthony Yim was an early engineer at Venmo. Anthony is incredible: he joined Venmo pre-Paypal acquisition and helped scale the company from <80K MAUs to 40+ million MAUs. He worked on everything from building the core backend of Venmo and ML-powered fraud prevention systems to hiring and mentoring many of the software engineers in the company. Prior to Venmo, Anthony was at Google. We were section mates at HBS 🎓 and now starting a company together!

There's a ton we wish we had done differently and were more thoughtful about.
